You can send us your digitized photos in any format.  However, if possible please use the JPEG format. (The file name extension will be .jpg.)

Please include as much information as possible with your photos.  However, if you have very little information about your pictures,  please send them in anyway.   After we post them others may be able provide more information when they see your photos here.

You can "snail mail" copies of your photos on floppy disks to us at: Company 169 Photos, C/O Jim Rassbach, POB 513, Port Angeles, WA 98362.  We will not be able to return your disks however, sorry.  Please send as much information about your photos as possible.

The easiest way to get your pictures here is to have them scanned and e-mail them to us as an attachment to an e-mail message.

If you do not have a scanner yourself you might have to consult the neighborhood teenage computer garu on the exact steps (like I did).   However,  we will try to give you enough information here to get you started.

Most towns have a copy shop such as Kinkos or a camera shop that will scan a print for you.  The important thing to remember is to have your pictures scanned at a low resolution.   All computer monitors cannot display anything over about 72 DPI (Dots per Inch) anyway.  If you are having the scans made for you, just tell the shop that the scans are for a Web page and to scan them at about that resolution.  That will help keep the file sizes smaller and quicker to e-mail them to us.

Once you have your photos scanned, it is easy to attach them to an e-mail message and send them to us.  Most e-mail programs will have an option to attach a file to your letter.

Using Microsoft OUTLOOK EXPRESS for an example:

Click on COMPOSE MESSAGE as you do for sending a normal e-mail.
Address to:  Company169@yahoo.com
Don't worry about the subject, we will figure it out.
Please tell us some info about your pictures.  You can use the Send Info page here to get an idea of what information would be nice to know about your pictures.
Attach your photo file to your e-mail message.
In OUTLOOK EXPRESS click on the INSERT button on the top menu bar and then FILE ATTACHMENT.
Browse to where your scanned picture is stored on your computer.  That can be on your hard drive or on a floppy or CD.
Select the file name of your photo.
Click OK to close the attachment dialogue box.
Click the SEND button on OUTLOOK EXPRESS.

Most other e-mail programs are similar.   If you have some questions please contact our Web snipes .

Note:  Some e-mail services have a limit on the size of the file you can send and receive.  Therefore, it is best you send only one photo per e-mail message.  That will be better for us anyway as we are also looking for the information you send with each photograph.  We are easily confused.

Please include all the information you can, particularly as to whom is visible in the photo.  The year the photo was taken and where is always nice to know.   We have placed a form on the Send Info  page you can use as a guide.

If you do not have much information, send the photo anyway!  Tell us your best guess at what year it is from so we can post it.  Others may be able to write us and let us know who is shown in the photo, etc.  Use the Send Info page to let us know what you know about photos that you  see posted here.

If you would rather you could make a copy of the photo files on a floppy disk and send them to us at:  Company 169, C/O Jim Rassbach, Post Office Box 513, Port Angeles, WA 98362   Please note that we will be unable to return your disk.

Thanks for taking the time to send us your photos.  We hope you enjoy the Company 169 online reunion.
